This Privacy Policy explains how Pic Recover handles information when you use recovery, backup, cleanup, screenshot management, and image enhancement features.
2. Information We Access With Your Permission
Depending on the feature you use and the permissions you grant, the app may access photos, videos, audio files, files, screenshots, contacts, SMS messages, installed app information, file metadata, storage paths, file sizes, modification times, and generated image enhancement cache files. This access is used to show recoverable, backed-up, cleanable, or enhanced content inside the app.
3. Local Processing and Storage
Pic Recover is designed to process most scanning results and backups on your device. Contacts, SMS, and app backup records are stored in the app's local storage. Cleanup scan results are generated from accessible local directories. Image enhancement creates a local preview cache before you choose whether to save the result.
4. Data We Do Not Sell
We do not sell your contacts, SMS, media files, cleanup scan results, backup records, or enhanced images.
5. Sharing and External Services
The app may open external system screens, app stores, share sheets, rating pages, or Android permission screens when you choose related actions. Image enhancement may use device or platform services where supported. If a future feature uses an external network API, the app should only send the content needed for that feature after you intentionally start the action.
6. Permissions
Media and file permissions are used to scan recoverable media, screenshots, and cleanable files. Contacts permission is used to create and compare contact backups. SMS permission is used to create and compare SMS backups and may be restricted by Android policy. Installed app information is used to create an app list backup and help you find removed apps. You can revoke permissions in Android system settings, but some features may stop working.
7. Retention and Deletion
Local backups and cached enhancement previews remain on your device unless you update, overwrite, delete app data, uninstall the app, or use system storage controls. Files you choose to clean or screenshots you choose to delete may be permanently removed from accessible storage.
8. Security
We use Android platform storage and permission controls to limit access to local data. No app can guarantee absolute security. You should keep your device locked, avoid granting unnecessary permissions, and maintain separate backups for important data.
9. Children's Privacy
Pic Recover is not intended for children under the age required by local law to use digital services without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Use
Your device, operating system, store provider, or third-party services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Please review those policies when using external actions.
